As the Fall 2017 semester quickly approaches, our staff and second year students have been preparing the campus for the incoming new and returning students; all 35 of them! Our property management team has been diligently leading the staff in the new projects we have around campus, which includes building 4 new cabins, a new shower house for the girls’ camp, and more bathroom units. With almost doubling the amount of students from last semester, our desire for improving and growing the campus is strong and much needed.
This past week, the staff focused most of their time on the construction of 3 out of the 4 cabins, 1 on guys’ camp and the other 2 in the girls’ camp. This project has given us the privilege to work alongside each other in laying down the foundations and cornerstones, building up the framework for the cabins, piecing together the piping for the showers, and everything else that comes with this project as a whole. God has given us nearly perfect weather all week long in order to continue working steadfastly in this housing development.
Crossroads Christian Fellowship has been a tremendous support in the growth and development of KBC, and without them, we wouldn’t be in the place we are today. Many church members came down for a volunteer work day with the college this past Saturday for a time of fellowship and building. With everyone’s help, we are proud to say that we have completed most of our projects and expect to be finished with everything soon!
It is so exciting to see God’s hand in all our work out here. Without the support of our friends and family, none of this would be possible. We want to thank you for your prayers and support you’ve given to KBC. Your encouragement and dedication for the school is so inspiring and we want to thank you for everything! If you have any questions about the housing project or any updates, feel free to check us out on our website at www.kauaibiblecollege.com or give us a call at 619-796-4522 for more information. We will be updating the website very shortly. We would love to hear from you guys! Aloha!
