We will be the first to admit that Kauai Bible College is not the most comfortable or pristine place to live. In fact, it’s not for the faint-hearted or easily offended. But that’s exactly the point. Kauai Bible College is designed to train men and women to succeed in walking with God in a challenging yet simple and beautiful place. Students love this simplicity. Living in a large 12×24 foot luxury safari tent might seem intimidating at first, but it has the potential to change your life! Even the culture of Kauai itself is a cross-over between US traditions and Polynesian Island practices, making Kauai an interesting and challenging place to reach out. The rooms are fitted with bunk beds, carpet, a desk and shelving. The living style is quite rustic, but the moderate Kauai temperatures along with cool off shore breezes make this spot optimum for year round tent living. Tent life is enjoyed by almost all of our students who have participated!

Besides the “back to basics” living experience, KBC offers solid, hands on Biblical training. We are an affiliate campus of Calvary Chapel Bible College Murrieta and teach in depth from the Bible, God’s written Word (to see what we believe, click here). Since our classes are not huge, they make way for much discussion and interaction (Click for more academic info). Along with teaching, there is a variety of involvement with ministry. Since we participate with Calvary Chapel Kauai, there is an ongoing opportunity to get involved in the churches numerous ministries (worship team, small groups, teaching, outreach, etc). Overall, KBC offers a firm foundation for those seeking to be discipled as ministry leaders and future disciplers of Jesus Christ. Just like the tents, the dining hall and kitchen are also quite rustic. Both are open-air style facilities that make the Kauai Bible College experience all the more memorable!

Besides the on campus tents and dining hall, we hold classes in the churches smaller single tents, as seen above. We also have two bath houses: one for the mens campus and the other for the womens campus. Finally, we have a make shift weight room and also picnic tables strategically placed in various places around the church property to enjoy spots to study, talk and just spend time with Jesus.
